Benefits of Ledgerly programs

Why Ledgerly

What makes our programs worth your time.

We are not the only financial education option in Bangkok. Here is an honest look at what separates Ledgerly from the alternatives — and what we think matters most.

Core Advantages

Six things that shape every program

Thailand-Specific Content

Every case study, reference, and example draws from Thai law, the Revenue Department's frameworks, and real SME situations. Not adapted from abroad — written for here.

Small, Focused Groups

No more than 12 participants per cohort. This keeps sessions conversational, ensures questions receive a proper response, and creates a more thoughtful learning atmosphere.

Experienced Educators

Our facilitators have worked in Thai finance, accounting, and law before moving into education. They bring practical depth — not just textbook knowledge.

Take-Home Toolkits

Participants in Business Financial Literacy receive a set of spreadsheet templates and planning tools. Tax program participants leave with a comprehensive reference guide.

Post-Program Access

Email support for 30 days after any program. Questions that surface once you return to your own financial documents deserve a considered answer, not just silence.

Honest Scope

We are educators, not advisors. We say this clearly because it matters. Our programs build understanding — they do not substitute for professional financial or legal advice.

Expertise

Facilitators with real working backgrounds

There is a difference between someone who understands a topic theoretically and someone who has worked with it day to day. Our facilitators come from Thai accounting firms, corporate finance teams, and legal practice. They know where the confusing parts actually are — and why those points matter in practice.

  • Combined 30+ years of Thai financial practice
  • Direct experience with Thai Revenue Department processes
  • Background in SME finance across Bangkok and the provinces

Years of combined field experience

Our facilitators collectively bring over three decades of experience working within Thai financial systems — not observing them from the outside.

Materials updated annually

Thai tax rules, VAT thresholds, and succession law all shift. We review every program's materials each year to reflect current frameworks — not yesterday's regulations.

Process & Methodology

A structured approach that respects your time

Programs are designed as a progression — each session builds on the previous one so that complex topics like consolidated financial statements or succession trusts are introduced only once the foundations are in place. We do not skip ahead or cover material superficially to fit a packed schedule.

  • Sequenced curriculum that builds real comprehension
  • Exercises using participants' own business or financial data
  • Bilingual annotations where Thai-specific terminology matters

Service Quality

A considerate, unhurried environment

We take the tone of our programs seriously. Financial topics — especially estate planning or tax anxiety — carry real emotional weight. Sessions are designed to be comfortable spaces for questions that participants might feel reluctant to ask elsewhere.

  • No question is treated as too basic
  • Private one-on-one session included in Estate seminar
  • 30-day follow-up email support after all programs

Maximum participants per cohort

This is not a constraint — it is a design choice. Smaller groups mean more honest conversations, more time for individual questions, and better learning for everyone.

Programs, each with a clear scope

Rather than a broad general course, Ledgerly offers three distinct programs — each focused and well-defined — so you choose the one that addresses your actual situation.

Value

Fees that reflect what is actually delivered

We price our programs in Thai Baht, with transparent fees that include all materials, toolkits, and (in the case of the Estate seminar) the follow-up session. There are no hidden additional costs once you enrol.

  • Business Financial Literacy — ฿14,000 (incl. toolkit)
  • Tax Planning Education — ฿8,500 (incl. reference materials)
  • Estate & Succession Seminar — ฿16,500 (incl. private session)

Outcomes

What participants typically take away

We are careful about how we describe outcomes — because learning is personal and context-dependent. What we can say is that our programs are designed to change the quality of the conversations participants have with their accountants, tax agents, and advisors after completing a course.

  • Greater confidence with financial documents and terminology
  • Clearer understanding of obligations and planning options
  • Better questions to ask professional advisors
  • Reference materials to return to when needed

Participants since 2017

Word of mouth is our primary source of new participants. That reflects the experience people have — not a marketing metric.

How We Compare

We are not trying to disparage other options — many serve a genuine purpose. This comparison is simply honest about what Ledgerly is and is not.

What Sets Us Apart

Four things Ledgerly offers that most do not

Written for Thailand, not translated for it

Our materials are not adaptations of international curricula. They reference actual Thai Revenue Code provisions, Civil and Commercial Code structures, and the operational reality of Thai SMEs.

Confidentiality treated as non-negotiable

Participants in the Estate & Succession seminar share sensitive family and financial information. We structure our sessions and data practices around protecting that completely.

Education that knows its boundaries

We do not edge into advice. This is not a limitation — it is what makes our educational role trustworthy. Participants can ask questions freely, knowing the answers come from an educator's perspective, not an advisor's.

Materials designed for ongoing use

Program toolkits and reference guides are formatted to be useful after the sessions end — as documents participants return to when a real financial situation requires it, not binders that gather dust.
